Thirty years ago today
On Wednesday Nancy brought our daughter down to the Beaches in the early afternoon and I met them at around 16:00 at Licks. My daughter deliberately peed her pants when I made a joke about her peeing her pants. We went to the Ontario College of Art OPSEU union Christmas party at Studebakers on King Street. My daughter had a blast playing inside the vintage Studebaker that was on display in the restaurant. I had two beers and a turkey dinner. My daughter ate dessert but not much else. There was a Santa Clause there and my daughter got lots of presents, including a little Thomas the Tank Engine. I got a box of chocolates of which my daughter ate a lot. When her mother came to pick her up she didn’t want to leave. There was dancing too and I spent some time on the dance floor. When I left, I kissed Maria Kasstan on the cheek and her normally sedate husband Jim looked jealous.
I called Mistress Patricia Marsh’s dungeon but there was no one to tell me to come over so I went home.
