Thirty years ago today
On Saturday I rehearsed with Tom Smarda and Steve Lowe for our performance as Christian and the Lions at the first Parkdale Artbeat Festival. Rocky Capano didn’t show up to play bass for us until it was too late and so we borrowed the bass player for the band Muck. We were great and we won third prize, which was $20 and a certificate from Steve’s Music. Marjorie Robero won first prize. Afterwards Mary Milne and I went for Chinese food.
