Thirty years ago today
Early Saturday morning, after her second night in a row of sleeping at my place for the first time, my daughter pushed the bottle away and cried because it wasn't her mother. But after a while she drank and went back to sleep. When we went out, she still sucked her thumb and didn't want to walk much except in the beginning when we got to the playground. When Nancy came to pick her up in the afternoon, she brought a bunch of her clothes and some food because Nancy would be leaving for Mexico on Sunday morning and her parents would be bringing the baby to stay with me most of the time starting at noon.
