Thirty years ago today
On Thursday I worked a full day at Northern Secondary School until 15:15. I called Diane and she told me that the job for that night had been canceled and so I went home.
To my surprise Mike Copping walked in at around 22:00 just as Knots Landing was coming on. He enjoyed it. He gave me the sports lottery ticket that I'd given him $2 to bet for me and it had won $24. We watched David Letterman and were surprised to hear that he was leaving his network. Mike said he might come back next Thursday to watch Knots Landing again.
