Billie Piper

On Saturday morning I finished working out the chords for “Johnsyne et Kossigone” by Serge Gainsbourg. I ran through singing it in French and English and everything’s okay so tomorrow I’ll upload it to my Christian’s Translations blog to prepare it for publication.
I played my Epi acoustic guitar during song practice for the second of two sessions. Tomorrow I’ll begin a two session stretch of playing my electric guitars.
I weighed 87.35 kilos before breakfast.
Around midday I rode to No Frills where all the grapes were too soft. I bought a watermelon, two packs of raspberries, some bananas, a pack of chicken legs, mouthwash, chili sauce, a sack of red potatoes, raspberry iced tea (they haven’t had the low sugar kind for a couple of weeks), a jug of orange juice, a container of zero fat skyr and another of 4% skyr, and a bag of plain Miss Vickie’s chips.
I weighed 87.55 kilos before lunch at 14:15. I had a toasted Montreal style bagel with five-year-old cheddar and a glass of iced tea.
I didn’t take a bike ride this afternoon because I wanted to get caught up on my journal.
I weighed 87.95 kilos at 17:00, which is the heaviest I’ve been in the evening since November 10.
            I weighed 87.8 kilos at 20:00.
I was caught up on my journal at 20:25. If I’d taken a bike ride it wouldn’t have happened.
I heated the rest of my pub style oven fries and the rest of the dragon’s breath dragon wings from The Crown and Dragon. I had them with a beer while watching the season finale of Doctor Who.
The Doctor is falling in the balcony that the Rani cut off from the spider tower. But a door opens up and its Anita from the time hotel letting him in. Anita is pregnant and the father is Ricardo, the head of Human Resources at the Time Hotel.
Meanwhile as Ruby is about to be a victim of the collapsing wish world she wakes up a day earlier at home. Belinda also wakes up at her home in Wish World. Anita says the hotel is in danger if Earth ends in 2025 because the Time Hotel is in 4202. The Doctor explains that the Rani needs the same day to keep repeating itself so it gets thinner and thinner until it snaps. Once it is broken she can see under the skin of reality to find Omega the first Time Lord and the most fearsome one in existence. Meanwhile Rani and Flood have located Omega. Anita takes the Doctor through a door to the bedroom of his daughter Poppy who was created in Wish World and may not exist if Wish World ends. The Doctor shows his true self to Belinda who had thought he was her husband John Smith. With Anita’s help the Doctor takes Belinda and Poppy into the Time Hotel. Belinda remembers who she is. Anita opens a doorway to United National Insurance Team. Anita keeps opening doorways all around the UNIT team that has forgotten their identities and the team starts to remember who they really are. Rose materializes now because they are no longer controlled by Conrad’s wishes and he wished for transgender people to not exist.
They see the giant bone beasts outside the window and the Doctor explains that they are from the Underverse. When two realities collide it creates friction and the friction creates excitative atoms that summon the bone beasts. They’re like anti-bodies feeding off the atoms and cleaning up the world.
Kate says all UNIT personal are bio-chipped and so they can use the chip to signal them. Shirley in the homeless camp is signalled. Mel in the suburbs is signalled. Ruby gets signalled as well. All three head for UNIT.
The Rani gets Conrad to locate the Doctor. Mel was the Doctor’s companion the last time he fought the Rani. The Rani teleports into UNIT and the Doctor asks her how she survived the genetic explosion that killed the Time Lords. She says she saw it coming and flipped her DNA with a biological sidestep and she travelled to Earth with a time bracelet. She says he wasn’t hard to find because she just had to look for a stupid blonde Earth girl. Kate says her father General Lethbridge Stewart fought Omega the mad god in the 70s. Rani says it doesn’t matter if Omega is alive or dead because she can use his body as a gene bank to resurrect the Time Lords and construct a new Gallifrey. Mel asks why the Doctor and the Rani don’t just mate. The Doctor says Time Lords are infertile since the genetic explosion. They ask what about Poppy but the Rani makes the racist claim that her Time Lord DNA is contaminated with human DNA. Belinda refuses to let Wishworld end if Poppy would cease to exist. The Doctor tells Rani he’ll stop her. They draw their sonic screwdrivers but Rani’s destroys the Doctor’s and she teleports away. She and Mrs. Flood make the atoms of the UNIT tower appear as excitative to the bone beasts and they all attack UNIT. The UNIT team activates weapons and goes into full battle mode against the bone beasts.
Susan Triad has built a Zero Room according to the Doctor’s specifications. Whatever is sealed inside will be beyond time and space and so the plan is to put Poppy inside to protect her from disappearing from memory. Belinda says she’s going in with Poppy. The Doctor warns her that if Rani wins they will be in there forever without starving, suffocating, or aging. She says, “Let’s do it”. They are locked in.
Ruby is fitted with a teleportation device so she can get to the tower and confront Conrad but she can’t get in because a threshold is protecting the tower. The Doctor needs to get in first and lower the threshold. When the Doctor had the sonic screwdriver showdown with Rani he tricked her. He copied her coding into his screwdriver so now he can summon her flying scooter, which he rides to the tower. Ruby teleports into Conrad’s room but he knew she was coming and already has a gun aimed at her.
Flood asks the Doctor, “Don’t you want to see Omega?” and he says yes.
Ruby thanks Conrad because his wish could have been much worse but he tried to give everyone a family. All that time they spent together he never mentioned his father. She remembers making him smile and it was real.
Omega comes partially through the portal and he is mostly a giant skeleton. He says he will be the god of time. Rani aims her sonic screwdriver at him but he grabs her and eats her. All that’s left of her is the time bracelet which Flood grabs and gets away. Omega says he’ll feast on the world. The Doctor backs away and up against the clock, then he grabs the Vindicator from the clock face and fires it at Omega with the power of a billion super novas driving it back into the Underverse.
Ruby teleports away from Conrad and reappears with the baby Desiderium, God of Wishes in her arms. She kisses the baby and wishes Conrad happiness, then he disappears. She kisses the baby again and blows to wish for the end of Conrad’s wish. Wish World begins to disappear, including all of the bone beasts and she finds herself with the baby inside the Tardis. As the spider tower begins to disappear the Doctor is running to escape when the Tardis appears in front of him. The Doctor enters, kisses the baby and blows, wishing for no more wishes.
The Tardis goes to UNIT and the Doctor runs to open the Zero Room. Inside is Belinda with Poppy still in existence. The Doctor takes Desiderium to Ruby’s adoptive mother Carla to be raised as she has done with many other babies. Carla’s mother names the baby Joseph. The Doctor and Belinda have Poppy in a crib in the Tardis as Ruby watches. They are setting up house and planning to travel through time and space with their child. The Doctor and Belinda are talking about where they will go first when Ruby looks and sees Poppy has disappeared. She asks where Poppy has gone but they ask, “Who’s Poppy?” “Your daughter!” The Doctor asks, “What do you mean?” She tells them they have a daughter and they begin laughing. The Doctor tells Ruby her memory is scrambled. They exit the Tardis into UNIT as May 24 finally arrives. Anita says goodbye. Kate tells her she could stay and work for UNIT but Anita says her key is far too powerful for the 21st Century. Before she leaves she tells the Doctor that The Boss says “Hello” but he doesn’t know what she means. The Doctor and Belinda begin to leave but Ruby asks if the world is exactly like it was. Susan Triad says small changes have happened. The border between Sweden and Norway has moved by a few kilometers. Shirley says the colour teal is now more blue and Kate says, “Ernest Borgnine is still alive”. Mel says Conrad is now a cook in a small restaurant in Lewisham. He and no one else remembers anything about his previous life. No one remembers Poppy and they think that Ruby’s memory is glitching but she reminds everybody that she was right in Wishworld when nobody remembered and she may be right now. The Doctor still insists he’s not wrong but Ruby reminds him how she disappeared from existence. Then Belinda remembers it also happened to her. Now they all believe Ruby that there is a Poppy out there. The Doctor says he’ll find her and he runs to the Tardis. A screen shows him the faces of all the other Doctors and he declares he was the best. But then Jodie Whitaker’s 13th Doctor appears and says, “Let’s say the best male, but don’t tell the others”. He asks how she’s there. She says cause and effect is out of order. She’s been popped out of her timeline by a time schism he caused. He says he’s going to punch regeneration energy into the vortex to jolt it one degree. She says “Try shifting your third string phenotype markers one microspasm to the left”. She’s about to leave and he says, “I love you!” She’s surprised and says, “I never say things like that… I should say that to Yaz”. He says you never do but she knows.
The Doctor shoots regeneration energy into the Tardis. He finds himself outside the Tardis lying on the grass in a back yard. Belinda comes out to greet him and Poppy is in the house. In this reality Poppy was Belinda’s daughter before she met the Doctor. For Belinda this is the first time the Doctor has seen Poppy. She introduces him as Uncle Doctor. She says the father is Richie and although they are no longer together he sees her all the time. The Doctor scans Poppy and finds she is 100% human. Belinda suggests that maybe when Poppy is grown up they can travel together again. Belinda has a feeling she’s forgotten something but the Doctor says that’s life. I wonder if Poppy is Susan’s mother.
He takes the Tardis near the star that Joy became and regenerates in the open doorway as it floats in space. It’s probably the most spectacular regeneration scene the Doctor has had in terms of a light show. In the end we see that his regeneration has the face of his former companion Rose Tyler.
Rose Tyler and perhaps the new Doctor is played by Billie Piper, who started dance classes at the age of 5. At the age of 7 she appeared in soft drink commercials for US TV. At 12 she won a scholarship to the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. At 14 she was an extra in the film Evita.
