February 2, 1991: Nancy felt faint in a mall and slept for half an hour with her head on a table

Thirty years ago today

We woke up early and after breakfast we went out in the early afternoon. It was a beautiful, unseasonably warm day. We shopped at the Sally Ann, St Vincent and Goodwill thrift stores. I found nothing but Nancy got some baby clothes. We walked to Simpsons and in the eaton's Centre mall Nancy felt faint. She slept for half an hour with her head on the the table in the food court. We caught the streetcar to that Indian restaurant on Niagara and found we had to count pennies to pay for our meal without leaving a tip. We hurried down to the Cinesphere at Ontario Place only to discover that all the tickets for Lawrence of Arabia were sold out. We went to see "Ghost" at the Revue instead.
