Thirty years ago today
Nancy called and
asked if I wanted to go to a movie. I met her at Market Square where we saw
"Last Exit to Brooklyn". It was a brutal, funny and provocative film
with lots of nasty sex, about the seamy side of Brooklyn during a strike in
1952.
When we got back
they were having a little birthday party for Mia. There was a birthday cake
that Mia made herself and it wasn't bad. A bunch of neighbours were there,
including her brother Poncho from Peru, Cliff, Louise and Gregg from upstairs.
I gave Mia $5.00 as a present.
Nancy and I
excused ourselves at midnight and went to my place where she stayed over.
