April 19, 1994: I was excited to have a bass player in my band even though Arjan couldn't really play

April 19, 1994 

            On Tuesday we had another rehearsal at my place for our May 11 feature at Fat Albert’s. As usual, Tom Smarda and Steve Lowe came but for the first time we jammed with Arjan. He was very much a beginner but I was nonetheless excited to now have a bass player in Christian and the Lions. Later I went to the Art Bar of the Gladstone Hotel to host my Orgasmic Alphabet Orgy writers open stage. Maybe some or all of the band came to perform there that night as well.
