February 15, 1990

Thirty years ago today

We were on our way to a movie and as we were lightly disagreeing on which was the quickest way to get there, Nancy decided to have a race with me by her preferred route. She ended up taking the wrong streetcar and getting there fifteen minutes late.
I spilled my popcorn at the counter and they gave me a new bag but I managed to retrieve most of the spilled kernels from behind the chocolate bars.
We saw “Princess Tam Tam” starring Josephine Baker. It was about an author who brings an African woman back to Paris in order to make his wife, who's been going out with a Maharaja, jealous. It wasn’t as good as “Zou Zou”
