September 8, 1991: After Nancy's bottled breast milk ran out I took the baby to a swing in the park and when we got back she went to sleep

Thirty years ago today

            Nancy was still away at the birthday party on Sunday morning and I was alone with the baby. She woke up at about 3:30 but I fed her Nancy's breast milk from the bottle and we both went back to sleep. She woke up again at 10:00 but was pretty calm and hadn't cried much the whole time Nancy'd been away. Nancy called around noon and said she'd be home in an hour or two. After the milk ran out I took her for a walk and we went on a swing in the park. When we got back to the house she went to sleep. Nancy called at 14:00 and said she couldn't get a ride back and so her mother went to get her. We'd debated whether to bring the baby to her but decided to let her sleep and she was still out when Nancy got back. Rakina came over later and we all went to the plaza and to the video store where we rented "Roxanne."
