Thirty years ago today
On Wednesday I picked up my daughter and we spent the day at our place.
I discovered that I’d screwed up and that Wings of Desire would not be playing that night but on June 3. I called Mike Copping to tell him and said it was just as well because he had to finish a chess match that he’d started the night before.
So, I got to spend more time with my daughter. She played with the bead maze that I’d bought for her first birthday. I blew bubbles for her on the front steps until her mother came to pick her up.
