October 17, 1992: I told the U of T student who was supervising the children's fair to abandon the system and let the kids play

Thirty years ago 

            On Saturday I picked up my daughter at around 10:30. We went to U of T where they had a kids' fair. She got a helium balloon that I lost but then we got another that I kept. She got a free apple and there was a small petting zoo. She watched some kids whack a ball off some cans with a bat and she went and did it herself over and over again. I had a hassle with some student who was supervising because he said she should be playing with the kids' games instead of the obstacle course. I told him to abandon the system and let the kids play. We went for a tofu bun on Baldwin.
