Thirty years ago today
On Wednesday it was Leonard Cohen’s birthday. So that evening at Fat Albert’s open stage I performed his songs “The Window” and “The Tower of Song” with Steve Lowe backing me up on guitar. The open stage at Albert’s Hall was canceled and so we went up to the one at the Black Rooster, but I was too tired to perform.
