On Saturday I posed at Artists 25 in the morning and afternoon. I played my rehearsal tape over their sound system. Then I went to Honest Ed’s to buy some winter gloves. I found a pair from which the tag had fallen off in the chaotic bins upstairs. I was standing in a long lineup and the cashiers were so slow that I just decided to slip the gloves into my bag and walk out. It was the first time I’d stolen something in a long time.
