Thirty years ago today
On Friday there was no work but it was a payday and so I probably went downtown to pick up my cheques from the Ontario College of Art and the Toronto Board of Education. Then I would have made a payment on my phone bill. Maybe I bought a comic book and had a beer downtown. On the way home I would have gotten off the streetcar at Coxwell to get some barbecued chicken, some fries and a case of beer. I would have caught the streetcar to Beach Avenue and gone to the supermarket before going home. That night I would have had the chicken, the fries and some beer while watching Star Trek Voyageur.
