Nancy
came by at around 18:00 like she said she would. She was very tense and was
surprised that I didn’t have an extra room. She said she would sleep in the
bathtub but I said, “Don’t be ridiculous!”
Aside
from showing her some of my photographs and chatting a bit I went on with my
normal routine as if she hadn’t been there while she went through television
withdrawal.
At
bedtime I suggested that we use her sleeping bag as a comforter and cuddle but
she nervously insisted that she would sleep alone. She said that just being
there was too much already, meaning she’d never been so close to a man in her
life.
