May 14, 1992: I called the lawyer who'd handed me his card in court

Thirty years ago today

            On Thursday I went downtown for an interview with Legal Aid. I would find out in two weeks if they were going to accept my case. I called the lawyer who handed me his card in the courtroom and made an appointment.
