Thirty years ago
We worked until
16:30 because we were told we were running behind schedule.
I had a milkshake
at the McDonald's in Dundas West Station on the way home.
When I got home I
ate the sandwiches that I'd made for work but had forgotten.
I added more
sausage and veggies to the soup that I'd accidentally made with cat food.
I did a little
reading and then fell asleep until quite late. I got up to put the soup away
and then finished my reading.
I showered and
shaved and then went to Nancy's place down the hall. She'd decided not to sell
flowers that day but had instead temped for Canada Post.
I drank a couple
of beers and went to bed at midnight.
