Thirty years ago today
After the play
Jennifer and I went walking west and stopped at Papa Gino's for a bite and some
drinks. She used to work there as a bartender and when the manager saw her he
invited us down to the new dance club in the basement. We were there until quite
late and then Jennifer wanted to take a cab home. I accompanied her and ended
up staying over.
In the morning we
made love. I was changing us to a different position when suddenly her back
went out and she collapsed.
I tried massage to
help her and showed her some yoga but the pain only switched to her neck.
