Jacques Bergerac

On Saturday morning I finished working out the chords for "Sorry Angel" and ran through singing and playing it in French. Tomorrow I'll go through my translation and if everything is fine I'll upload it to Christian's Translations.
My professor emailed me back to tell me I could write my essay on the topic of my presentation.
I weighed 84.7 kilos before breakfast.
In the late morning I went down to No Frills. On my way, at the corner of Queen and Jameson there was a guy with no legs in an electric wheelchair. His stubs were bare in the cold weather. He wasn't waiting to cross the street but facing in the opposite direction like he'd already just crossed. After I'd passed him I was standing and waiting to cross, slightly behind him. He asked, "How's it goin?" I said, "I'm okay, how are you?" He said he was fine and then commented that it was a nice day. I said, "Yeah, in a couple of weeks it will be spring." He said, "Have a great day" and continued east on Queen.
At the supermarket I bought seven bags of red grapes, some bananas, a pack of cherry tomatoes, two bags of avocadoes, Arm and Hammer toothpaste, Garden Cocktail, and a jug of orange juice.
I noticed from around breakfast time that there was no hot water but thought that it was just that someone had used it all up. When I came back from the supermarket Benji asked me if I had hot water and I said no. He said he'd called the landlord and left a message that we have no hot water.
I weighed 85.2 kilos before lunch, which is the most I've weighed at that time in about three weeks. I had avocadoes and cherry tomatoes with lemon juice and a glass of Garden Cocktail.
My afternoon siesta was twenty minutes longer than usual so I got started a little later on my bike ride to Bloor and Bathurst. I was feeling weak, probably more from caffeine withdrawal than the fast.
            I weighed 84.3 kilos at 17:30.
I was caught up on my journal at 18:15.
I worked on my essay, so far just basically turning my presentation into something more like a research paper. It's due a month from tonight and so right now I have time just relax and write. I need one more outside research source but as of right now I haven't thought about what that's going to be.
Benji knocked on my door to tell me the hot water has been fixed.
I had avocadoes and cherry tomatoes with lemon juice and a glass of Garden Cocktail while watching season 5, episode 25 of The Beverly Hillbillies.
Alexander the King of Sabalia is coming to visit the Drysdales. Margaret Drysdale is thrilled because he is royalty but Milburn isn't excited until he learns that Alexander has billions in Swiss bank accounts. Alexander arrives in California on a yacht but it turns out that he is only a servant on the yacht. He got work in order to get to North America to meet and marry a wealthy woman because even though he is the king, Sabalia is broke and its currency is worthless. Milburn, still thinking Alexander is rich, takes him to meet Elly May because he dreams of their money merging in his bank.
Meanwhile Margaret has brought her niece Doreen to meet Alexander. Doreen has just divorced her seventh husband and she likes the idea of marrying a king. Jethro shows up in the colourful over-the-top uniform he bought years ago to be a chauffeur for the countess. Doreen misreads the uniform and thinks Jethro is the king so she pursues him.
Elly finds Alexander charming until he puts on his crown and robes and promises to make her a queen. Then she turns him down. Doreen rejects Jethro but when Alexander learns she's rich from her seven divorce settlements he goes after her.
Alexander was played by Jacques Bergerac, who was a law student in France when he met Ginger Rogers. She got him a screen test and they appeared together in "Twist of Fate", also called "Beautiful Stranger". He played the second male lead in "Les Girls". He starred in "Un homme se penche sur son passé" (A Man Reflects Upon His Past). He co-starred in "Achilles", and "The Hypnotic Eye". In 1957 he won the Golden Globe for Foreign Newcomer. He was married to Ginger Rogers and then Dorothy Malone. He became the head of Revlon's Paris office.

For the eighth night in a row I found no bedbugs.
