November 16, 1991: I took the first northbound subway to Yorkdale but found out I'd have to wait an hour for the bus to Brampton

Thirty years ago today

            On Saturday I got up at 5:20, caught the streetcar just after 5:30, and boarded the first northbound subway to Yorkdale. But when I got there I found out I would have to wait an hour for the bus to Brampton. I called the shop to tell them and they said they'd pick me up at Rutherford and Queen. It was a full day's work. There was no tip but I got breakfast and two beers. 

            That night I talked to Nancy and she said she would bring the baby to my place on Sunday at 10:00.
